The Appeal
Hitting the market in 2005 as their new premium range-topper, the Flying Spur was effectively the full four-door variant of the Continental GT. It beautifully captured the company’s 21st-century ethos of everything, everywhere, all at once. For your money, you got the utmost luxury, an enormous list of options and performance that could get you moving at over 200mph – the first four-door Bentley to ever achieve the double-ton.
Of all of the Flying Spurs, though, there’s one that stands head-and-shoulders above the entirety of Bentley’s catalogue – the W12S comes with more attitude; extra power and torque are complemented by more responsive handling, while dark-tinted design details hint at the performance intent of the Flying Spur W12S.
Boasting a simply enormous 12-cylinder masterpiece under the bonnet, the car’s already remarkable capacity is boosted to an exhilarating, high-octane 626hp. To complement all of that grunt under the bonnet, it also featured a more responsive chassis set up, with damper and stability control specially developed to make it a remarkably driver-friendly ride.
No bones about it – this was a car that stirred the soul, got your hair standing on end, and kept you in a high-society comfort while doing so – though the price was so high, even for one of Crewe’s finest, that it’s become one of the rarest 21st-century Bentleys ever.
This beautiful, full-sized luxury motor is in very good condition and has been regularly serviced by Bentley dealers – with the last service in 2025.
Having covered only 27,000 miles from new, it’s a beautifully specified car that’s got everything going for it. If you’re seeking truly premium levels of luxury, you won’t find much better than the Flying Spur – and you certainly won’t find many opportunities to rival this one.
